MISSOULA — Families headed over to Fort Missoula on Saturday to take part in an old- fashioned fall festival.
Missoula Parks and Rec hosted the 19th annual Fall Family Fest and Kaboom! Play Day.event, along with other local businesses and nonprofits.
Apple pressing and cider making, hayrides, and face painting were just some of the autumn activities.
Bike races and arts and crafts booths also lined the pavilion. Local band The Salamanders played for the crowd.
Melissa Bailey brought her two kids to keep them entertained.
"It's just a fun family activity to do. We saw it on Facebook, and thought it'd be fun to take the kids out of the house."
Proceeds will benefit local youth recreation programs.
