Missoula man offers to hang Christmas lights for others

MISSOULA — One Missoula man is doing his best to spread Christmas cheer this year by offering to help people decorate their homes.

Logan Shelton has all the lights to hang around your house, and hopes that by doing this, he can spread some holiday joy.

He said he got the idea randomly, but started right away.

He’s decorated about 50 houses so far, and says if he spends a few hours on each house, he can get about four done in a day.

It’s keeping him busy from sun up, to sun down.

Shelton tells us his mom loved Christmas, and after she died last Thanksgiving, he decided to put his construction skills to the test for her favorite holiday.

He started the idea this year, right after Thanksgiving, and says it’s making him, his family, and his neighbors happy, even during the pandemic.

“It’s interesting with how I’m contacting my customers. A lot of it is contactless, but I would prefer to have interaction with people, I’ve met some great people, and it really makes people happy. It's a dark and difficult time, especially this year, and I think this lightens everything up," said Shelton.
