MISSOULA — The Radius Gallery in Missoula moved into their new building on Friday, right next to the newly built Mercantile replacing Uptown Diner.

The Gallery now has three separate showcases inside the building which allows the gallery to have over 200 pieces showcased at a time, larger than their old space on East Main street.

Radius co-owner Lisa Simon and her husband Jason Neal created the gallery in 2014 to help support artists in and around Montana, the newer and bigger space helps them do just that.

“The doors are open to the public, we wanna invite everyone in that calls Missoula home, or is visiting Missoula so they can see the kind of variety and exciting artwork that is coming out of this town.”

The opening of the new building will be celebrated tonight at 5 p.m. with the showcase of Rudy Autio’s artwork, to honor the late local artist who had brought his art talents to Missoula.

Radius Gallery will be holding an event called “Remembering Rudy” on February 6th honoring Autio.
