A pedestrian died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the Mission Valley.
The Montana Highway Patrol responded to a crash on US Highway 93 southbound at mile marker 51, near Pablo at around 4 a.m.
A male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and was transported to the hospital where he was later confirmed deceased. The driver was also transported to the hospital.
The MHP is still investigating the crash and are seeing if drugs or alcohol are factors.
Correction: A previous report indicated that the accident happened near mile marker 31 on US Highway 93 North. The correct location is near mile marker 51 on US Highway 93 North.
