MISSOULA – A busy Missoula road shut down Friday as a result of a crash.
The incident occurred at the intersection of West Broadway and Palmer streets.
The vehicles, a minivan and a Subaru, were traveling in opposite directions on Broadway when the minivan attempted a left turn. The van then struck the Subaru, causing it to flip. It landed on its top, leaving the driver pinned.
Emergency responders were able to free the driver, who was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Missoula Police say that he was complaining of pain but that his injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The occupants in the other vehicle were uninjured.
