MISSOULA – Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament has sent a clear message to the public in the past that he is in support of Montana US Senate candidate Jon Tester and he also backs the “Rock 2 Vote” campaign.

Political posters depicting a burning White House and what appeared to be the depiction of a skeleton of President Trump in the foreground sparked debate after the band played at Washington Grizzly Stadium back in August.

Ament sent out a text on Sunday to those who are signed up to receive messages from the “Rock 2 Vote” campaign asking folks if they were ready to vote on Tuesday.

A  check on two of the largest counties in Western Montana shows that the bulk of absentee ballots are already back in the courthouses waiting to be counted.
