MISSOULA – No injuries have been reported after a fire broke out on Saturday morning in Missoula.
The Missoula City Fire Department was called out to two-story residence in the 2200 block of South 13th Street West just before 12 p.m.
Battalion Chief Dave Wolter says firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from two windows on the upper story.
Crews entered the house and quickly gained control of the fire which Wolter says extensively damaged the upstairs.
Crews remained on scene for several hours to complete operations and search for any possible fire extension.
The cause of the blaze, which caused an estimated $30,000 in damages remains under investigation.
