Inmate serving time for Missoula County crime passes away

MISSOULA – A man who was serving time for a 2014 crime out of Missoula County has passed away.

State prison officials report that inmate Ronald Alfred Dunn, 76, died on Wednesday at the Lewistown Infirmary following an extended illness.

Dunn was sentenced to sentenced to 10 years in prison with five of those years suspended in 2014 after being convicted on a charge of Abuse of Older or Developmental Disabled Person.

Dunn had been eligible for parole since 2015 and was set to be released in August 2019.
