UPDATE

MISSOULA – Authorities report that as of 7:40 a.m. the left lane of Interstate 90 near the Nine Mile exit west of Missoula has been opened to traffic.

The right land remains closed as crews continue to clean up a crash involving two semi trucks.

MISSOULA – An accident has closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 west of Missoula.

The Montana Department of Transportation reports that the crash is on a bridge near mile marker 81.5 and involves two semi trucks. The wreck is near the Nine Mile exit.

A MEANS Alert has been issued out of Missoula County reporting that all westbound traffic on I-90 is being taken off of the highway at mile marker 82.

The accident was reported at 4:30 a.m. on Monday and according to the Montana Highway Patrol, no injuries are being reported at this time.

The Frenchtown Rural Fire District and the Montana Highway Patrol remain at the scene of the accident.
