LOLO – With Super Bowl LIII just five days away, we spoke with staff at several local restaurants and sports bars to see how they’re prepping for the big game.
The responses varied. A couple of managers say their numbers are lower due to at-home parties, while others say their take-out orders increase greatly, but there isn’t an increase in traffic inside the restaurant.
KT’s Hayloft Bar Manager Kayla Downing says that’s not the case at the Lolo establishment. She says the Hayloft is the go-to place for many in the community.
Items, including a high-definition TV, are raffled off, and food and drink specials are also offered and Downing says Super Bowl Sunday has a family feel.
“Usually, over Super Bowl Sunday, it’s pretty busy. We have a lot of the locals come by and sit down with their friends and family, and some earlier crowds come in and kind of pre-game a little bit.”
