Crashes once again snarl morning traffic from Lolo to Missoula

LOLO – A series of early morning crashes on Highway 93 northbound again between Lolo and Missoula.

Drivers were delayed for upwards of an hour with traffic backed up from Delarka south of Lolo to the Western Montana Humane Society near Missoula.

The first crash involved a van that spun out at the beginning of the curves north of Lolo and ended up in a ditch.  The Montana Highway Patrol was dispatched to the wreck at 7:15 a.m.

A more serious crash happened further north about 40 minutes later with several vehicles colliding south of Blue Mountain Road. That wreck blocked both northbound lanes on Highway 93 and injuries were reported.

The accident were still in the final stages of being cleared at around 9:15 a.m. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
