MISSOULA – Mother Nature didn’t cooperate over the weekend with the scheduled Easter Eggstravaganza.

The Missoula Catholic Schools event, sponsored by Fuel Fitness is now set to take place at 6 p.m. on Monday at Loyola Sacred Heart’s Rollin Field.

Organizers say that “after a morning filled with phone calls, texts, voice mails, begging and trading favors, we are proud to announce that we successfully rescheduled every mascot and food vendor for tonight’s Eggstravaganza.”

The event also features a raffling off prizes, giving away gift certificates as well as plush animals and other goodies, entertaining the kids with mascots and music prior to the main event.

Ollie Monte, Silver, Smokey Bear, the Easter Bunny as well as 2 very special guests that were flown in from their retirement in Scottsdale, Arizona will all be on hand for the Easter Eggstravaganza.

People who want to take part in the event are encouraged to show up by 5:30 p.m. to take part in the pre-event festivities.
