MISSOULA – There’ some big news to share with those of you who have been following the restoration of the historic Miss Montana airplane.
Following a brief Sunday morning test fight, the C-47 and her crew took off and headed to Normandy for the anniversary of the D Day invasion on June 6, 1944.
The blue skies presented the perfect window for this historic aircraft to begin its journey.
The highlight will be a team of paratroopers from Montana who will join their colleagues in jumping over the historic battlefield.
