Big Brothers Big Sisters of Missoula set to close after funding cuts

MISSOULA – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Missoula will be closing their doors in the next few weeks.

The nonprofit organization has been struggling after losing major state, federal and private grants.

“We have done everything in our power to deal with the loss of a third of our budget, but we are still coming up short,” the organization said in March.

Details of their closure and continued mentor plans are still up in the air.
