MISSOULA – Drivers who use Van Buren Street should plan on some delays this week.

Knife River construction crews have begun chip sealing with the work expected to last three days, depending on weather conditions.

Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes when either entering or exiting Interstate 90 at the Van Buren Street exit.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to single lanes and there will be flaggers on the road.

The Montana Department of Transportation says the project is expected to be completed in mid-July.
