MISSOULA – The Missoula City Council will vote on electric bikes and scooters on Monday evening.
The ordinance would allow the use and regulation of dockless bike and scooter sharing systems.
- Missoula council members get electric scooters demonstration
- Missoula bike shops give mixed reviews to proposed e-bike, scooter share system
Opponents say e-bike systems can be unorganized, and take away from local bike shop rentals. But others say they help people get around town.
A public hearing will take place before voting which is set for 7 p.m. on Monday in the city council chambers.
