MISSOULA — Missoula's Southgate Mall has closed its doors in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
Southgate Mall managers wrote in a Monday news release that their top priority is protecting the health and safety of their guests, retailers, and employees.
Washington Prime Group, owner of Southgate Mall and other malls across the U.S., released a statement saying all enclosed assets with an indoor common area will be shut down.
Meanwhile any restaurant or food service offering carry out or delivery options are expected to remain open, according to WPG.
The measure went into effect Monday and will end on March 29 unless otherwise noted.
Several stores inside the Southgate Mall had already closed due to COVID-19 concerns.
