MISSOULA — Containment at the Butler Creek Fire northwest of Missoula continues to grow.
The blaze is holding at 307 acres with containment growing to 80% as of Thursday.

A local Type 4 organization has taken over management of the fire.
There are 16 people assigned to the fire including four engines.
The human-caused fire was first reported early on the morning of July 22.
