First Night Missoula 2020 event times announced

MISSOULA — Arts Missoula is presenting the 26th annual New Year’s Eve celebration of the arts in Missoula, with over 60 performances and activities in 20 venues throughout downtown, on the University of Montana campus, and at the Southgate Mall.

The event goes from noon until midnight on Dec. 31, 2019.

Music, theatre, dance, children’s programs, visual arts, workshops and other activities highlight this magical day-long event. There will be a variety of events to enjoy such as high school competitions, comedy shows, workshops, and Native American dancing.

Some of the local bands performing in these locations include Big Sky Mudflaps, Celtic Dragon Pipe Band, Salsa Loca, Drum Brothers, Ed Norton Big Band, and John Floridis Quartet.

Admission buttons are $12 with the exception of purchasing your ticket on Dec. 31 the price changed to $15. Children 10 and under receive free admission. Buttons are available online here and at over 20 locations throughout Missoula and in the Bitterroot Valley.
