MISSOULA — The Missoula Downtown Foundation is raising funds for the new Heritage Missoula Interpretive Trail with a new Heritage Trail Dinner and Tours fundraiser.

Offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays through October, the fundraiser allows participants a chance at a fine dining experience from Scotty’s Table, Second Set Bistro, or Pangea and a guided walking tour of Missoula.

The dinner raises funds the Heritage Missoula Interpretive Trail which highlights areas around downtown Missoula with informative kiosks and large sidewalk medallions.

Officials say the trail is an important informational tool not just for Missoulians but for visitors who spend time in the Garden City.

“The Heritage Trail shows this collective fabric that kind of brings us all together and showcases our heritage,” Missoula Downtown Partnership program director Kalina Wickhan said.

“It’s a really great trail that can educate not only the residents of Missoula but also tourists or anyone else who comes through, Wickhan added.
