UPDATE: 2:40 p.m. - November 20, 2023
The Missoula County Sheriff's Office reports they were called to the 2300 block of 26th Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023, for a suspicious package.
Following a thorough investigation of the package, the scene has been determined to be safe.
There is no threat to the public.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and assisting law enforcement are in the area of the 2300 block of 26th Avenue responding to a call for suspicious activity.
People are asked to avoid the area which is off of South Avenue West and South Reserve Street.
The Sheriff's Office reports this is an active investigation.
