MISSOULA — Authorities have released the name of the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle earlier this week in Missoula.
Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner TJ McDermott says Johnny Lee Burns, 63, of Missoula died in the early Tuesday morning incident on West Broadway.
Robert Nelson, 34, is facing several charges in connection with the death of Burns.
Court documents say that police responded to reports of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle at around 6:30 a.m. on March 3.
CPR was being performed on Burns by firefighters and EMT’s when Missoula police officers arrived at the scene.
The Missoula Police Department is continuing to investigate this incident.
