MISSOULA — A peaceful "Stop the Steal" rally was held on Wednesday in Missoula.

More than 100 supporters of President Donald Trump gathered in front of the Missoula County Courthouse Wednesday afternoon.

"We are in close communication with Sheriff TJ McDermit and County CAO Chris Lounsbury. So far, protesters remain peaceful and local law enforcement is present and monitoring the situation," Missoula County Commissioner Dave Strohmaier said in a statement to MTN News. "I do urge everyone to remain peaceful."

Meanwhile, around 60 to 70 supporters of President Trump gathered at Kalispell's Depot Park.

People waived Trump 2020 flags and held signs of support for the president. Some cars driving by honked in support of the protesters while others driving by voiced opposition.
