GREAT FALLS – A man died in a rollover crash east of Lewistown on Thursday.
The accident happened at around 7:24 p.m. near mile marker 97 of U.S. Highway 87 between Lewistown and Grass Range.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports the man was westbound on U.S. Highway 87 when he missed a curve and went off the road.
The 34-year old driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. MHP reports alcohol, drugs, and speed are likely factors in the crash.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
