BILLINGS – Another campaign mailer has been sent to potential voters with incorrect information.

According to Bret Rutherford, Yellowstone County Elections administrator, a mailer sent by the Republican National Committee incorrectly states that ballots postmarked by Nov. 5 will be accepted, which is not the case.

In Montana, absentee ballots must be received no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 6.

“There is absolutely no grace period, even with a postmark,” said Rutherford.

Rutherford said anyone with questions about their ballots should contact their area’s elections office.
