GREAT FALLS – The Montana State Fair has announced its first performer for the 2019 fair “It’s All Good, in the 406.”

Trace Adkins, a country musician, will take the stage Wednesday, July 31 in the Pacific Steel and Recycling Arena.

Adkins has sold 11 million albums, received Grammy nominations, and CMT and ACM awards. The Louisiana native is a Grand Ole Opry member.

Some of his songs include, “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “Arlington.”

In a press release, the 57-year-old said he is fired up to be back on the road.

“I get a kick out of it. I still enjoy the camaraderie, the band of brothers, your crew and your band. I’m an old jock. I like team sports,” he said.

The Montana State Fair runs July 26 through August 3. For more information, visit the Montana ExpoPark’s website.
