Montana Lottery to conduct $100K "early bird" drawing Friday

GREAT FALLS - The Montana Lottery conducted an "early bird" drawing at 10 a.m. on Friday for a big prize in its annual Montana Millionaire event. (Read the full update here.)

The Montana Lottery will conduct an "early bird" drawing on Friday, Nov. 25 for a big prize in its annual Montana Millionaire event.

The Montana Lottery hosts two such "early bird" drawings each year ahead of the end-of-year grand prize drawing.

This year, a $100,000 drawing will be on Nov. 25; and a $25,000 drawing will be on Dec. 16.

We will post an update once the winning $100K ticket is announced.

In addition, there are 3,000 “instant win” tickets: 1,800 tickets worth $500, and 1,200 tickets worth $100.

The drawing date for the three big prizes (two for $1M, one for $100K) will be between Dec. 26, 2022, and Jan. 1, 2023.

The exact date has not yet been determined.

Last year's two winning million-dollar tickets were sold in Butte and Missoula.

Due to a change in legislation, the Montana Lottery is no longer allowed to release names of Montana Millionaire winners unless they have given consent.
