Southwest Airlines announces service in Bozeman

BOZEMAN — Southwest Airlines announced that it will begin service to and from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

The service is scheduled to begin on May 27, 2021.

People can now book travel to fly non-stop between Bozeman and both Denver and Las Vegas and include same-plane or connecting service to and from more than 50 other Southwest cities.

“The Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bozeman and Gallatin County welcome Southwest Airlines to southwest Montana. We LUV the fact that Southwest Airlines will be offering for the first time ease of access for Montanans to their great network” said Daryl W. Schliem, Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce CEO.

"We extend our congratulations to the Bozeman Airport for its continued success and service to Southwest Montana. We are pleased to play a role in the Bozeman Airport partnering with Southwest Airlines to increase options and decrease costs for passengers," said Frank Acito, Chief Financial Officer of the Yellowstone Club.

Brian Sprenger, Airport Director, added, “Southwest’s reputation for low fares and great service will bring a new level of convenience and competition for all our travelers.
