BILLINGS — Kurt Alme, the U.S. Attorney for Montana, will be stepping down from his post with the U.S. Justice Department at the end of this week, to become state budget Director for Montana Gov.-elect Greg Gianforte.
Alme has served as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Montana since his unanimous confirmation by the U.S. Senate in September of 2017.
He sat down with MTN News recently to discuss some of the top issues and challenges for the U.S. attorney's office as 2020 comes to a close.
