BILLINGS – Democrat candidate for Congress Kathleen Williams met with voters in Miles City and Billings over the weekend.
The big issues for Williams are jobs, healthcare, Medicare, social security and the outdoors — and she also talked about her three terms in the state legislature.
Williams — who ran in 2018 — is trying again because she says she’s inspired and motivated to help fix Congress.
“It’s a broken institution,” Williams said. “It was broken in 2018. It’s still broken and I think my going to Congress can actually help repair that institution and help it function again.”
“I have a reputation for putting people over party and policy over politics and that’s what we need out there,” she added.
Williams also attended the Yellowstone County Democrats Truman Dinner on Saturday night. Her next campaign stop is in Flathead County.
