PASO ROBLES, Calif. – A magnitude 4.3 earthquake was reported in Central California on Tuesday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. PT.
USGS says weak to light shaking was reported along the border of Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties.
Some nearby communities include: Cholame, Parkfield, Shandon, Paso Robles and Coalinga.
In the last 10 days,
the Los Angeles Times reports
that there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater in the area.
