FLORENCE – The water problem that gave Florence students the day off on Wednesday has been resolved.

FCS Superintendent Bud Scully told MTN News that a problem in a relay caused the water to stop flowing to the school. The relay was successfully reset and Scully says the water is once again running on the school campus.

Parents were notified by the school at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday that classes had been called off for the day. Scully says that school will resume on Thursday.

Additionally, all after school practices will continue as originally scheduled on Wednesday. However, Drivers Education has been canceled for the day.
