HAMILTON — Ravalli County announced that another active case of COVID-19 has been found Tuesday afternoon.

In a news release, the county said the new positive case is a woman in her 60s. Her exposure has yet to be determined and close contacts have tests pending.

The previous four cases in Ravalli County have come out of isolation and their contacts are coming out of quarantine.

Two previous cases are still in isolation at this time. With Tuesday's case and the two previous cases, there are now three active cases in Ravalli County.

Ravalli County’s active cases are not all counted on the state map due to two cases having out-of-state addresses. There are 162 active cases across Montana.

Ravalli County reminds people to still be cautious, wear masks and continue social distancing to prevent the spread.
