HAMILTON – Good news for Bitterroot Special Olympians, the downhill skiing event is back on thanks to someone’s gracious donation.

The 38th Bitterroot Winter Special Olympics was in need of a vehicle that could shuttle athletes to the starting line for the games’ downhill event.

Games Director Randy Hodgson tells KPAX that someone from the Bitterroot has donated their time and vehicle to keep the event going.

The games will take place Jan. 29 through the 30th at Lost Trail Powder Mountain.
