UPDATE: Highway 93 crash south of Lolo cleared

UPDATE

LOLO – The earlier accident that shut down a section of U.S. Highway 93 South near the Missoula County/Ravalli County line has been cleared.

Traffic is once again moving through the area near Chief Looking Glass. The Montana Highway Patrol was listing the incident as an injury accident.

The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office notes in a social media post that roads in Ravalli County and Missoula County were starting to get very slick at the time the accident.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling.


No further information is available at this time.

Further north, traffic was snarled in the center of Lolo due to a crash in the northbound lanes of US Highway 93 North new Lewis and Clark Drive.

LOLO – The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday evening that traffic is being rerouted after a vehicle crash at Chief Looking Glass Road south of Lolo.

At least one person has been injured.

The MCSO said in a MEANS Alert that all traffic heading north from Ravalli County is being detoured onto Old Highway 93.
