Western Montana school delays and cancellations

MISSOULA – The weekend’s snow and cold weather has prompted many schools to delay the beginning of class on Monday, Feb. 4.

Mission Valley Christian Academy, Polson, St. Ignatius and Valley View Elementary schools announced on Monday morning that instead of a two-hour delay, all classes have been canceled for the day.

St. Ignatius also announced that all sporting events and practices are canceled for Monday.

  • Stevensville
  • Superior

Additionally, CSKT is delaying the start of its workday until 9 a.m. on Monday.

Editor’s note: A previous story incorrectly stated that Dayton School was closed for the day. It is fact on a two-hour delay.
