
MISSOULA – Emergency crews across the area have been busy dealing with accidents on Wednesday morning.
A wreck on US Highway 93 between Lolo and Missoula brought traffic to a standstill as crews worked to get the northbound lanes fully reopened.
The Montana Department of Transporation reported a head-on accident that was blocking US Highway 2 approximately 20 miles west of Kalispell.
Meanwhile, the Montana Highway Patrol was busy responding to multiple crashes on Interstate 90 in Mineral and Missoula counties.

Accidents were being reported on I-90 westbound near mile marker 105, mile marker 99 and mile marker 96 in Missoula as well as on I-90 west near mile marker 50 and mile marker 37 in Mineral County.
A semi-truck jackknifed on I-90 east 3½ miles west of St. Regis blocking the left lane. Crews also dealt with accidents on I-90 east near mile marker 27 in Mineral County.
A one-vehicle crash also closed one lane of Interstate 90 near mile marker 90 in Frenchtown late Wednesday morning.
A MEANS Alert was issued at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday due to an accident with injuries that was blocking one lane on I-90 eastbound near mile marker 110 in the Bonner area.
Lake County responders were busy with a semi truck slide off near on US Highway 93 five miles north of Dayton as well as crash near mile marker 3 on Round Butte Road in the Ronan area.
