POLSON – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office took to social media Friday afternoon to report a 14-year-old girl missing in Polson.

Emma Eastman, 14, was later found safe on Saturday, according to an update from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

“Emma Eastman of Polson was reported as a runaway yesterday [Thursday] at around 7 p.m.,” the Lake County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook. “Lake and Flathead County deputies have been trying to locate her to no avail.”

Law enforcement officials in Lake County believed at the time that Eastman “may be in danger.”

The notification comes on the heels of another teenage girl from Polson, Whisper Littleowl-Horseman, reported missing Wednesday. There is no indication the two incidents are related.

Officials urge anyone with information regarding Littleowl-Horseman’s whereabouts to call 911.
