A Browning man died and a Cascade man was injured in a Tuesday morning crash near Ovando.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports the accident happened near mile marker 24 on Montana Highway 200 at around 5 a.m.

A 19-year-old man from Browning was driving west when he failed to negotiate a lefthand turn.

The vehicle went to the right side of the road and the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to slide off the road and roll over twice.

Both the driver and the 23-year-old passenger from Cascade were ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene while the passenger was transported to the hospital. The names of the victims have not yet been released.

Alcohol, drugs, and speed are suspected factors in the crash, according to the MHP.
