UPDATE: Suspect in Troy search captured without incident

UPDATE: The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect has been captured in the Lake Creek area without incident. They said there are no additional suspects or threats.

TROY – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking that residents in the area of Lake Creek Road/School House Lake Road and Highway 56 area in Troy to remain in their homes and lock their doors and vehicles while they search for a “possibly armed and dangerous” man in the area.

LCSO is looking for a 20 to 30-year-old male with facial hair wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans who is about 6 feet tall.

They ask that if anyone sees a person matching that description to call 9-1-1.
