POLSON – A Polson elementary school gymnasium that suffered severe damage from a snowstorm in January 2018 is coming down.
Demolition on the 1940 era Linderman Elementary School gymnasium started the last week of June.
That section of the elementary school has been closed due to structural and roof damage since the snowstorm.
According to the school’s website, the Polson School District negotiated a settlement with the insurance company that will fund the complete reconstruction of the Linderman gym complex.
