ELMO — Crews battled a structure fire on Monday afternoon in the Elmo area.
According to the Polson Rural Fire Department, the blaze may have begun in a wood stove in an attached garage before quickly spreading into the home.
The Chief Cliff Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the scene a d requested mutual aid from the Polson Rural, Polson City, Rollins, and Ronan fire departments.
