Hamilton High School closed following positive COVID-19 tests

HAMILTON — Hamilton High School will be closed on Thursday due to reports of several positive COVID-19 cases.

Staff and students who are determined to be close contacts of a confirmed case will be contacted individually.

Due to privacy concerns, school officials cannot release any other information about the cases.

Hamilton High School students are asked to check with their teachers via Google classrooms for assignments tomorrow on Thursday.

Thursday's closure only affects the high school as all other district buildings will be open.

The Hamilton High School boys and girls soccer matches set for Thursday against Corvallis have been postponed until Saturday.

Stevensville Public Schools also announced classes would be held remotely on Thursday due to a COVID-19 case.

Ravalli County Public Health reported 19 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday bringing the total number of active cases to 49.
