At 11:48 a.m. on Sunday in Lake County, a 63-year-old male was pronounced dead near Spring Creek Road and U.S. Highway 93.
The 63-year-old was driving a motorcycle southbound along Highway 93 without a helmet behind a Dodge pickup truck driven by a 59-year-old from Pablo.
When the pickup attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Spring Creek Road, the motorcycle for unknown reasons continued into the front quarter panel of the pickup truck.
The 63-year-old was pronounced dead on scene and was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the pick up was not injured.
Alcohol and speed are suspected factors in this crash, according to Montana Highway Patrol.
