POLSON — Coronavirus concerns have prompted Lake County law enforcement to announce changes and restrictions.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Lake County jail will have no inmate visitation, outside of attorneys and medical staff, until further notice.

There will also be no concealed weapons permit appointments, no fingerprinting done for the public and no DNA for probationers.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding. We must keep our staff healthy as we must be here for the duration,” the Sheriff’s Office noted in a Monday morning social media post.
