Lake County woman delivers necessities to neighbors

A woman in Lake County is delivering boxes of food and necessities to her neighbors as the COVID-19 outbreak continues.

Shayna Cullinan said she saw people posting needs on Facebook and wanted to help.

So she got together with her husband, and some friends and family, to shop for people in the community.

Cullinan buys groceries out of her own pocket but is also accepting donations.

"I don't want anybody to feel like there's ever too little, and it's not good enough. You could come up and hand me a roll of toilet paper in a Ziploc bag and you could easily make somebodies day, and it will definitely make my day."

They're boxing non-perishable food items, and whatever else is needed, like dog food, baby food, and socks.

Cullinan said they've already delivered almost 60 boxes of food.

"We want to help people. It's just grown so fast, and it's grown so much. Now I'm just like wow, we really needed this in this valley."
