The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is searching for a possible drowning victim in Lake Koocanusa.
Last Friday around 4:40 p.m., LSCO and CanAM Search and Rescue responded to a possible drowning. The general location was north of Rexford Bench on the east side of the reservoir.
Responding personnel said Mamadou N'Diaye, 18, of Maryland, had jumped off a boat into the lake and never resurfaced.
LSCO was assisted by Flathead County Search and Rescue, Border Patrol, Montana Fish and Game and Two Bear Air. As of Monday afternoon, his body had not been recovered and the search is still ongoing.
