Magpie Rock Fire reaches 3,539 acres

DIXON — Weather conditions and rough terrain continue to plague fire crews working on the Magpie Rock Fire.

CSKTs Division of Fire says that the fires acreage currently sits at 3,539 acres.

According to officials an aerial burnout operation was successful Saturday and helped secure fire edges in the Bravo and Zulu divisions.

Despite structures being adjacent to the Zulu division CSKT says there is not threat to structures at this time.
