POLSON — Dozens of people showed up in Polson on July 4th to support of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women's and the Black Lives Matter movements.
Protesters were seen on US Highway 93 through town, carrying signs, and chanting "bring Jermain home" -- referring to Jermaine Charlo, a woman missing for two years after she was last seen in Missoula.
We're not sure exactly how far they walked on Independence Day, but bystanders told us they started on Highway 209 near Bigfork on Saturday morning and had made it to Polson by the afternoon.
