MISSOULA — A 63-year-old Missoula man died after his vehicle was struck by an oncoming vehicle on US Highway 93 north of Arlee early Wednesday morning.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports a pick-up truck was traveling north on US Highway 93 just after 2:30 a.m., when the driver drifted to the left and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.
The pick-up truck struck head-on with a Chevy pick-up truck driven by the Missoula man who was traveling southbound, killing him.
The other driver was taken to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula with unknown injuries.
MHP reports the roads were wet at the time of the crash. Alcohol, speed, and drugs are not suspected in this crash at this time.
The Missoula man’s name will be released by the Lake County Sheriff's Office once his family has been notified.
